Doug's Birthday

Doug turned 27 at the beginning of October. Yes...I am very behind in blogging. I promise that will change soon. You may even see 2 posts today! :) He had a great birthday. I call him an "old man" now. Ha ha. Too bad he's only three months older than me. Doug is such a great guy. He's a wonderful husband and an incredible father. I'm so happy to have him in my life.

Switzerland August 2008

My dad took us on an AMAZING trip to Europe in August. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to blog about it. We were gone for 11 days and visited Switzerland, Italy and Austria. All I can say is WOW!! We had so much fun with my dad, Whit, Brian and Marcie! It was truly the trip of a lifetime. Thanks Dad. :)

Hailey's First Day of Preschool

Hailey started preschool last week and she likes it a lot. :)

Bear Lake August 2008

We went to Bear Lake with a bunch of family from my dad's side. He had to work and so he wasn't able to make it. The kids absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

24th of July Festivities

We had a little neighborhood party a fews days before the 24th and that was a lot of fun. Hailey was in a parade for dance. If you click on the pictures of her on the float, you will see that she was asleep on the float!! I couldn't believe it. They had really loud music playing and she still fell asleep! Thank heavens for the sweet girl next to her who let Hailey rest her head on her shoulder. The kids were able to ride some rides after the carnival and had a great time.

Colby's 2nd Birthday

Colby turned 2 a couple of weeks ago. He is a really fun little boy. He is such a great part of our family. I love the stage he's in. He just started to really talk in the last month or so. Before that he knew about 20 words (and had some of his own language too) and could communicate well enough, but in the last month he has started talking like crazy, full sentences. It's great. I love the way he enunciates and pronounces some words. "Socka Ball" "fire werks" "dighpur" I love it when he comes up to me and says, "Mom, I wanna snuggle." I love his blond hair, I don't know how it is so blond, but I love it and his big blue eyes. I love the little twinkle they get when he's excited or has done something for the first time or when he knows he's in trouble. :) Thank you Colby for being such a wonderful little boy.
